Meet the Counselor

 

My name is Sara Nussman and I feel honored to be part of the amazing Stoner Thomas community.  I was born and raised in Welcome, NC, graduated from North Davidson Senior High before earning my Elementary Education degree at NC State University!  Go Wolfpack!  After four years of teaching kindergarten, I knew being part of the field of mental health was next.  I am passionate about helping students identify and process big emotions, learning self regulation skills and strategies, and finding ways to meaningfully connect with students.  If there is any way I can serve you or your child here at school, please email or call me!
