Meet Ms. Jeannette
I received my BS in Biology from Campbell University. I completed my teaching credentials at UNC-Charlotte. I have licensure in English as a second language as well as Intellectual Disabilities (k-12). I received my Masters in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. I have experience in counseling and some Masters hours from NCA&T University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and the EC Chair at Stoner-Thomas School. I consider myself to be a behaviorist as I have worked as a Qualified Professional in group homes for children and adults with challenging behaviors and intellectual disabilities. I am a PENC member and a member of the local Arc as well as a trainer for the Red Cross. I am married to a wonderful man. I am a parent of 6 amazing children.
I believe in teaching students to be self-reliant and responsible. I am pleased to be a part of this wonderful time of learning and growth in your student's life. I believe students are most successful when parents, teacher, related service personnel, and community agencies work cooperatively and serve the whole child with a person centered approach based on self-actualization.
