Other Helpful Information

  • Please send a book bag to school daily, along with his/her Daily Log Notebook. Please check the notebook daily as important papers and information will often be inside. If you are sending a note or money to school, please place it inside the clear plastic pencil pouch on the inside of the notebook.
 

  • School Hours:

    • 7:45am-2:35pm
    • Students may arrive at school beginning at 7:30am, no earlier
    • Car riders and Bus riders will be released at 2:35pm
 

  • Breakfast and Lunch:

  • Breakfast is served daily to all students at no charge
  • Lunch for students is $2.75
  • Information for free or reduced lunch can be found online: www.lunchapplication.com/
  • Money may be added to lunch accounts by sending in money in a marked envelope or baggie or online: www.k12paymentcenter.com/
 
  • Items Needed

Below you will find a list of items needed for school:

  • 1 inch, hard binder (no plastic or floppy binders, please)
  • 1 pack of Jumbo Crayola Crayons (8 piece)
  • Kleenex or tissues
  • Paper towels
  • Wipes (for faces and bottoms)
  • Diapers/Pull-Ups (if needed)
  • Change of clothes (1 shirt, 1 pair of shorts or pants, 1 pair of socks, 2-3 pairs of underwear if your child is potty trained or is in the process)
  • Quart size baggies
  • Gallon size baggies
  • Paper or styrofoam plates (must be disposable)
  • Plastic or styrofoam cups (must be disposable)
  • Backpack (large enough to hold a 1 inch binder and their winter coat)
 
  • If your child takes medication during the school day, please send the medication in the prescription bottle and permission/directions from both you and the doctor. ALL medications must be brought into school by the parent and given to the child's teacher.
  • Please put your child's name on ALL clothing, including coats, jackets, hats, gloves, even book bags.
  • If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday during the school year, please contact me near the date. We'd love to celebrate with you! Please remember that all food must be store bought due to county policy.
  • IMPORTANT - Always remember to send a note stating why your child was absent from school after he/she has been out, even if you have called and told me over the phone. This must be done within 3 days of the absence or your child will have an unexcused absence; this is also a county policy.
