Here is a little background information about the Transition classroom staff...

Ms. Anna

I graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) in 2017 with a degree in Health Administration. After working in healthcare for a short time I realized that was not the path for me so I got into teaching in 2019. I have been at Stoner - Thomas School since 2020 working as the lead teacher in our Transition classroom.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family including my son and two dogs, camping, traveling, reading, and being outdoors.

My co-teachers and I have many responsibilities here within the school including the Aquaponics Lab, Prom, Graduation and Yearbook. As head of the Graduation Committee, we handle all information regarding graduates, graduation photos, graduation practice, etc. If you have questions please send myself or one of the other classroom teachers listed an email using the contact information listed.

Mrs. Stefanie

I have been working in education since 1998 and I have been at Stoner - Thomas School since 2013. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Davidson County Community College.

I have lived in Davidson County all of my life. I have been married to my husband Scott since 1993. We have two, adult daughters who are both working in education. We also have two Labradoodles named Goose and Maverick. I enjoy reading, camping, going to the beach and spending time with my family.

Ms. Jamica

I graduated from Charlotte Dental School and pursued a career in dental health before realizing that education held my heart. I have been at Stoner-Thomas for 20 years and have experience in all grade levels and age groups. I have a huge passion for working with special needs students.

Outside of school I spend time with my family mainly, my three boys, Jax, Brantley and Huston. We recently decided to add another member to our family, an American bulldog named Lila. We enjoy spending time outside by the water, paddle boarding, kayaking, and going to the beach and attending sporting events for my kiddos.
