Savannah Sperlazza, Principal
Savannah Sperlazza currently serves as the Principal at Stoner-Thomas School, a public-separate school serving students with significant disabilities ages 5-22 in Lexington, NC. Savannah resides in Clemmons, NC with her high school sweetheart, Scott, and their boys: Larson (7), Brody (5), and Baby Boy #3 (Jan 25’)! Savannah graduated with her undergraduate degree in Special Education: Adapted & General Curriculum in 2013 from Western Carolina University. She served in various secondary EC Teacher roles from 2013-2022 with Lexington City Schools, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, and Davidson County Schools. Savannah began her journey to becoming a leader in Special Education in 2021 when she began her Master’s of Educational Leadership at Salem College. During this time, she joined the district-level transition team in WS/FCS as she had the opportunity to have a bird’s eye experience of serving and supporting principals, teachers, and students across the district. Upon completion of her masters program & obtaining her administration license, Savannah pursued her dream of becoming the principal at Stoner-Thomas School in summer 2023.
