Important Information
  1. Please check your child’s bookbag and agenda daily for any important school information. These will also be used as your student’s daily behavior log. Students will receive daily stamps and or notes concerning their classroom behavior.
  2. STUDENT ILLNESSES-- Attendance is important for student success. However, please adhere to the DCS school policy regarding student illnesses.
  3. While we recognize that illnesses do occur, please remember that students need to bring notes after any absence from school stating the date of the absence, reason for the absence and with parent signature. Notes should be returned within three days of your student being absent.
  4. If your student requires a change of clothes or personal hygiene/sanitary items, please be sure to send them to school. Student clothing should adhere to the Davidson County Schools dress code.
  5. If your student requires medication at school, please ensure that all medication forms have been completed by your doctor. Medication must be in the original bottle with the dosage and times on the outside. Please do not put medication in your child’s bookbag. You may give any medication to the bus driver if needed.
  6. Any money sent to school should be labeled with your child’s name and the purpose (Ex: Lunch, Field Trip, etc.). Please remember Davidson County School’s lunch policy regarding charges. Please let me know if you have any questions about your child’s lunch account.
  7. We will continue to go to the YMCA this year. We will send home reminders on the weeks that we will swim. All students MUST wear their bathing suits under their clothing to school to swim. They will need to bring a plastic bag along with a towel, change of underwear, hair brush/comb and deodorant. Please label these items with your child’s name.
  8. We welcome parent participation and look forward to having everyone involved in our school. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering and we will get the forms necessary to volunteer.
